Before They Were Stars: Tia Carrere in “Zombie Nightmare” (MST3K Version)

Since we just did a Shouts From the Back Row podcast about Mystery Science Theater 3000, it’s about time I do another “Before They Were Stars” feature on someone who started out by appearing in a movie which was mocked on this show. In 1986, an unknown Tia Carrere starred in a low-budget Canadian horror flick called Zombie Nightmare. This clip is a “best of” compilation from the MST3K version and you can see her at the 3:46 mark. And, yes, that is the one and only Adam West playing the police captain, and you’ll rarely ever see an actor look less thrilled about being a film.
