A documentary about Frédéric Bourdin, an adult French criminal who deceived authorities and convinced them that he was a 16-year-old missing child from Texas found in Spain.
Well here’s a trailer guaranteed to give you the chills! The Imposter is a documentary from director Bart Layton that was shown at Sundance and SXSW, and I predict that Robin will be all over this, since he loves true crime stories. This one certainly has a killer hook. I’m not sure what to say beyond that, except if any of my family members go missing, I’m going to be extremely suspicious if they turn up again thanks to this creepy documentary.
The Imposter comes out July 13, 2012.
