I am McLovin! You’ve gotta love today’s celebrity birthday boy: Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Mintz-Plasse acted throughout elementary school and high school, but with no credits to his name or even professional headshots, he landed his breakthrough role of Fogell (McLovin) in Superbad after the filmmakers loved his audition. The massive success of Superbad helped launch Mintz-Plasse to stardom, and to date, the bulk of his work has been in fun and awesome movies like Role Models, Kick-Ass, How To Train Your Dragon, and the remake of Fright Night. He’s appearing in the sequel to How To Train Your Dragon, and presumably he’ll be back whenever Kick-Ass 2 gets made as well. What more can I say? I love McLovin. Christopher Mintz-Plasse turns 23 today.
