I have never read a Judge Dredd comic in my life, and my only exposure to the character has been the Sylvester Stallone movie of the same name (which was utterly stupid) and the occasional side project like a video game or a fan trailer for a spinoff. I can’t say as I’m jazzed by the world that Judge Dredd inhabits, and the character never seemed badass to me because I think his outfit looks a little too ridiculous. So here’s the trailer for Dredd, the new reboot of the Judge Dredd “franchise” starring Karl Urban. It looks…alright. But frankly, I think the Total Recall reboot/remake looks way better.
Dredd comes out September 21, 2012. And by the way, you betrayed the law!
