Here’s a trailer for The Prototype, which has absolutely no connection to the video game Prototype, in case you were wondering. The film was written and directed by Andrew Will, who up until now only has a single writing credit to his name for Homeland, and from the look of his IMDb profile appears to be a production assistant catching his first big break. And what a cool first movie! I’m getting a distinct Frankenstein vibe from The Prototype, and I love the design of the humanoid drone. But then, I am a sucker for robots.
The Prototype comes out sometime in 2013.
