Welcome to my new obsession! Okay, just so there’s no confusion: Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace was a TV series made in 2002 by writers/directors/actors Richard Ayoade and Matthew Holness. Designed to appear as a long lost TV series from the 1980s only recently unearthed, and rife with terrible production values, acting, dialogue, and special effects. As you can probably guess, I think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.
