After Project X completely failed to utilize its “found footage” gimmick in any interesting or creative ways, I thought that my taste for the found footage film had completely died. Well, consider my taste rekindled, because V/H/S has combined the gimmick with another horror gimmick, and it’s one that I totally love: the anthology film! Directed by Adam Wingard, Glenn McQuaid, Radio Silence, David Bruckner, Joe Swanberg and Ti West, V/H/S appears to be the ultimate kitchen sink horror movie, with the likes of ghosts, scary kids, slashers and monsters being included, and frankly, I can’t wait to see it!
V/H/S comes out in limited release and on demand on October 5, 2012.
