The Bat Whispers

After reading an article online about how a noir film from the 1930s called The Bat Whispers supposedly inspired Bob Kane to create Batman, Rob Hebert decided to watch the movie…and discovered that it’s full of Batman iconography, including expressionist lighting and even a Batmobile! Using clips from the film and the score to The Dark Knight Rises, Hebert created this wicked mashup trailer that I absolutely love. Now I just need to watch The Bat Whispers for myself!
