I keep finding myself surprised by the quality of the Paranormal Activity movies – not because I think they’re “great” films, but just because they’re so darn effective. The jack-in-the-box scare method, where you know something’s going to happen but you don’t know what, is the perfect tactic to get cheap screams out of people. It even works on me, damnit! Anyway, here are two spots for this year’s Paranormal Activity 4. I kinda wish the chronology of the movies in this franchise wasn’t so muddled, but frankly, I think that’s the only complaint I have about the series, and it’s not a big one. Are you looking forward to more jump scares?
