Edward Norton is so famous that I find it totally mind-boggling that he has fewer than 30 film credits at the time of this writing! After beginning his acting career in Off-Broadway stage productions, Norton moved into film with a hell of a debut role in the courtroom thriller Primal Fear – a role that garnered him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. And it’s easy to see why!
Norton’s filmography is full of big-name movies, and considering how few he has made, his track record is damn near spotless. Notable Norton films include Rounders, American History X (which garnered him another Academy Award nomination), Death to Smoochy, Frida, Red Dragon, 25th Hour, The Italian Job, Kingdom of Heaven, The Incredible Hulk, The Illusionist, The Invention of Lying, Moonrise Kingdom, Leaves of Grass, The Bourne Legacy, and, of course, Fight Club.
I am Jack’s birthday celebration. Edward Norton turns 43 today.
