Before They Were Stars: Shia LaBeouf on “ER”

The highly anticipated gangster film, Lawless, has just opened up in cinemas this weekend and given the quality of the rest of the cast, I’ve heard more than one person say they’d be happy if the movie shocked everyone by killing off Shia LaBeouf in the opening scene. Whatever your feelings on the young actor, here’s an interesting glimpse of him at the age of 13 when he guest starred on an episode of ER as a very bitter kid suffering from muscular dystrophy. I must admit, I laughed pretty hard at the random moment where he looks at a patient’s chart and says: “It says here you have cancer. They’re gonna chop off your penis”.
