Leo Bill began acting at a very young age when he appeared on the TV series Eh Brian! It’s a Whopper at age four, and in an episode of the series Screenplay when he was eleven. He took some time off from acting following his credit in Screenplay to gain an education and formal acting training at Stratford Upon Avon College, and returned to show business following his graduation in 2001 with a role in the Robert Altman film Gosford Park. Thanks to his distinctive appearance and talent for acting, Bill has appeared in a number of popular properties, including movies such as Vera Drake, Kinky Boots, Becoming Jane, Me and Orson Welles, Alice in Wonderland, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He has also acted on the TV shows Spooks, Silent Witness, Home Time and Jekyll. But role in which I’ve enjoyed Leo Bill most was definitely as Charles Darwin in Tarsem Singh’s The Fall. Leo Bill turns 32 today. (Spoiler alert for The Fall in the following clip!)
