Chaos breaks out in a small Maryland town after an ecological disaster occurs.
The found footage horror subgenre’s latest offering The Bay looks like a pretty run-of-the-mill, albeit well-executed flick, and even though I do like the found footage film, that’s not what intrigues me about this one. What’s got me curious is that this is the first time an Oscar-winning director had tried his hand at the found footage gimmick, and I can’t say as I expected Barry Levinson to be the one to pave the way. What do you think? Is The Bay worth a dam…er, damn?
