Ever since I started this feature, I’ve always wanted to do a spotlight on someone famous who had an early role on Saved by the Bell (aside from the infamous future Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkley, of course). Well, I’ve yet to find a good one from the original series, but the spin-off, Saved by the Bell: The New Class, featured one of the very first acting jobs for James Marsden. In this particular episode, “Homecoming King”, Marsden plays… well, the homecoming king, an arrogant douchebag with a perfect douchebag name if I’ve ever heard one: Chad Westerfield.
