When it comes to the movie Prometheus, some of the mysterious plot omissions worked and some of them just didn’t. One of the questions that the film asks the audience, one which I thought worked just fine as a hanging ambiguity, was what the android David said to the Engineer to anger it to the point where it would rip off his head and beat Guy Pearce to death with it. Sadly, this deleted scene gives it away, and it’s a pretty obvious thing, too. I prefer some of the suggestions of what the Engineer says in response, as suggested by Youtube commenters:
“In five seconds, I’m gonna rip that android’s head off and hit you with it! Then you gonna die.”
“Guy, I fucking loved Memento. It’s a classic!”
“My toilet is a bowl of kangaroos.”
