I’d hesitate to call Jeremy Davies a character actor, but he’s definitely been cultivating a “That Guy” persona since the start of his career. Davies began acting in 1992 on two episodes of The Wonder Years, and had small roles on the shows Guncrazy and Melrose Place. He gained a lot of critical attention for his role in the David O. Russell film Spanking the Monkey, and had small roles in films such as Nell, Twister, Ravenous, Saving Private Ryan, Secretary, Dogville, Rescue Dawn, Solaris, and It’s Kind of a Funny Story. He played Charles Manson in the TV movie Helter Skelter and Daniel Faraday on the series Lost, and can currently be seen on the series Justified. Jeremy Davies turns 42 today.
