Ben Whishaw is a young actor is on the cusp of stardom thanks to his upcoming role as Q in the new James Bond film Skyfall. Whishaw began his professional acting career on the stage and made his film debut in the 1999 film The Trench. Other early credits of his include My Brother Tom and Enduring Love, and in 2004 he had a small role in the Matthew Vaughn film Layer Cake. His first major starring role in a film came in 2006’s Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, and he played a version of Bob Dylan in the 2007 film I’m Not There. Since then, Whishaw has appeared in the films Brideshead Revisited, The International, Bright Star, The Tempest, and in the upcoming Cloud Atlas and the aforementioned Skyfall.
