Maybe I’m just in a strange mood, but this featurette for Cloud Atlas put a big swell of emotion right in my chest. Lana Wachowski’s question “What if the villain of one story is actually the hero of another, played by the same actor?” makes me want to leap up from my seat and applaud wildly all alone in my office. This looks like daring, unusual, unique and creative filmmaking, and even without having seen the movie, I think the ideas behind it should be celebrated. Guys, this movie is going to be terrific.
