It’s the Playstation version of Smash Bros., and at first I was confused as to why Sony would try to get in on something that Nintendo has been doing so well for so many years…but then I saw this trailer, and I understand. This is going to be way better than Smash Bros., simply based on the fact that you can have the Fat Princess fight Kratos. Actually, it’s the fact that so many of the characters have guns and cool gear that I find compelling. Nintendo almost achieved that level of awesomeness by including Solid Snake in Smash Bros. Brawl, but that’s the furthest they were willing to step outside their comfort zone. Add Polygon Man, the short-lived Playstation mascot, as the villain of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and you’ve got the makings of a very fun time indeed. Shame I don’t own a PS3.
