I’ve previously showcased how the cast members of Friends all made a ton of guest appearances on other famous television shows before they made it big. In this 1990 episode of Who’s the Boss?, Matthew Perry plays a college student whom, along with his girlfriend, moves into a house with Samantha and becomes roommates with her, but of course, he eventually finds himself becoming a lot more attracted to Samantha. This performance is particularly interesting since Perry seems to playing an early version of Chandler Bing. The two characters are pretty similar, and it’s extra-amusing to watch once you start noticing the similarities between Tony Danza and Joey Tribbiani! This episode seems to resemble a bizarro version of Friends where Joey becomes extremely paranoid about his daughter becoming roomies with Chandler!
