Celebrity Birthday of the Day – November 15

Jessica Hynes began acting when she was in high school and performed mostly on the stage until 1993, when she appeared in a small role in the film Swing Kids. Loads of television work followed, as Hynes performed (under the name Jessica Stevenson) in the series The House of Eliott, Six Pairs of Pants, Tears Before Bedtime, Crown Prosecutor, Asylum, Midsommer Murders, Armstrong and Miller, and Staying Alive. In 1999 she co-created, wrote, and starred in the cult TV series Spaced (one of the best of all time, folks), and has since been a bit of a nerd icon. She’s been in the films Son of Rambow, Magicians, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Burke and Hare, and on the TV shows Doctor Who, The Royle Family, Skins, and Twenty Twelve. But she’ll always be Daisy to me! Jessica Hynes turns 40 today.
