Before she began her career as an actress, Sean Young was a model and dancer. Her rise to fame was swift, as she made her acting debut in the 1980 film Jane Austen in Manhattan, played a small role the following year in Stripes, and then played a female lead in 1982’s Blade Runner. Only three years between her debut and stardom! Other notable credits in Young’s filmography include the movies Dune, No Way Out, Wall Street, Fatal Instinct, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. She has also appeared on the TV series Reno 911!, ER, CSI, One Tree Hill, and The Young and the Restless. Sean Young turns 53 today.
