Robin picked the perfect time to showcase Stephen Chow’s work on TBR, because this week the first teaser for Chow’s upcoming film Journey to the West (also known as Odyssey) debuted online! It doesn’t show much save for that trademark Chow over-the-top CGI, but from what I gather it’s going to be a retelling of the Chinese legend of the Monkey King (whom North American audiences might know from being played by Jet Li in The Forbidden Kingdom). Sounds like perfect fare for Chow – sign me up!
