Before They Were Stars: Michael C. Hall in a Broadway Production of “Cabaret”

Ever wanted to see Dexter Morgan in white face paint playing the Emcee in a stage production of Cabaret? Well, it happened! In 1998, Cabaret began its very successful revival on Broadway and when Alan Cumming relinquished his role as the Emcee a year later, an unknown actor named Michael C. Hall took over the part. Hall would eventually leave the production when he was cast on Six Feet Under, but guess who would soon take his place? Neil Patrick Harris!
