Bob Peterson’s primary occupation is as an animator, writer and storyboard artist for Pixar, having worked on almost every Pixar film, including the Toy Story trilogy, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, and Up. More recently, however, Peterson has been doing more and more voice acting for Pixar. He had already done some voice work for them early on with the short Geri’s Game and in Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo, but in Up he was given the central character of Dug the Dog to voice. Squirrel! Peterson also made his directorial debut with Up, and is set to direct the upcoming film The Good Dinosaur. He turns 52 today.
