Before They Were Stars (2-for-1 Special): Bradley Cooper and Elizabeth Banks Perform Yoga in “The Stella Shorts”

It’s become a fun tradition here at The Back Row for me to do “Before They Were Stars” features on the Academy Award nominees shortly after they’ve been announced. Bradley Cooper has garnered his first career Oscar nomination for his role in Silver Linings Playbook, and as a bonus, this “Before They Were Stars” clip of him also happens to feature Elizabeth Banks. The Stella Shorts were a series of short films produced by the three-man comedy group Stella. In this short produced in 2000, Stella visits a yoga class, which just happens to feature an unknown Bradley Cooper and Elizabeth Banks. It’s worth noting that the men behind Stella also made the cult comedy, Wet Hot American Summer, which provided both Cooper and Banks with some of their earliest film roles.
