This new UK trailer for Monsters University has totally sold me on the movie. I’m sort of naturally skeptical of prequels and sequels, but Pixar is one of those few studios that has managed to pull it off, and in some cases create sequels that are even better than the original. Barring Cars 2, of course. Anyway, doing a college fratboy competition movie is a great idea, and I can’t wait to see all the cool new monster designs (some of which are present in this trailer) since CGI technology has come a heck of a long way since the original Monsters Inc. This could be Pixar’s comeback after the rather unremarkable Brave.
