I wonder how Christopher McDonald feels about being frequently cast as cinematic scumbags! Regardless of how sleazy his characters may be, McDonald certainly trained hard to play them, as he was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and the Stella Adler Acting Conservatory. Having appeared in over 150 different film and television roles, I only have room to list a handful of them here. Some of McDonald’s notable film appearences include Grease 2, Thelma & Lousie, Grumpy Old Men, Quiz Show, The Faculty, The Perfect Storm, Happy Gilmore, Requiem for a Dream, The Iron Giant, and The Man Who Wasn’t There. He has also appeared on such TV shows as Superman, Batman Beyond, Matlock, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Veronica’s Closet, and Boardwalk Empire.
