Edward James Olmos always wanted to be famous, growing up wanting to be a professional baseball player, and eventually heading up a rock band called Pacific Ocean. He attended acting classes at East Los Angeles College, and in the early 1970s, he began to branch into professional acting. He had early small roles on shows such as Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, and Hawaii Five-O. He would go on to appear in such films and television shows as Blade Runner, Hill Street Blues, Miami Vice, Touched by an Angel, The West Wing, The Green Hornet, and Battle Star Galactica. I dunno about you, but I count myself as as a proud member of Team Edward! Edward James Olmos turns 66 today.
