Movie: The Movie: The Sequel

Jimmy Kimmel’s phony trailer for Movie: The Movie was a brilliant piece of viral comedy, so it’s only natural that he’d try and make a sequel. The result is something that, in true sequel fashion, doesn’t come close to measuring up to the original, but has some pretty amazing moments. The Salma Hayek cameo is great, Bryan Cranston’s bit is once again terrific, and the fact that the whole thing is “based on a tweet from Gary Busey and a bestselling board game” is a stroke of comedy genius. I wonder if he’ll go for a third.
