Before They Were Stars: Jason Isaacs as Doctor#2 in “The Tall Guy”

The Tall Guy is a 1989 British comedy starring Jeff Goldblum, who plays the straight man to an asshole stand-up comedian played by Rowan Atkinson. Richard Curtis wrote the screenplay, which was inspired by his own real-life experiences playing the straight man in Rowan Atkinson’s comedy routines. Anyway, a young Jason Isaacs made his film debut here in the very brief role of “Doctor#2”, but you’d hardly know it since the poor guy has to keep his face hidden by a surgical mask the entire scene.
