A graduate of USC film school, Tim Story began his career directing music videos for artists such as 2Pac, N Sync, and Ideal before moving into directing feature films in the late 1990s. His first two films, One of Us Tripped and The Firing Squad, both starred Kevin Mambo. In 2002, Story directed the highly successful film Barbershop, and in 2004 he directed the Jimmy Fallon/Queen Latifah film Taxi, a remake of a French film of the same name. Story gained mainstream attention in 2005 when he directed the comic book movie Fantastic Four, and he directed the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer two years later. He has also directed the films Hurricane Season and Think Like a Man, and an episode of CSI: Miami. Tim Story turns 43 today.
