Before They Were Stars: Bryan Cranston Does Voices on “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”

If you watched Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, you might remember that the real name of the Blue Ranger was Billy Cranston. Well, guess what? That was actually a deliberate tribute to the world’s most famous Cranston. Early in his acting career, Bryan Cranston would pick up some extra income by doing voice-overs for foreign TV shows, one of which was the soon-to-be pop culture phenomenon, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Cranston did the voices for two of the villains, Snizard and Twin Man, and it seems they must have liked his work since they decided to name one of the Power Rangers after him.
