No, not Emperor Palpatine! In 1967, while attending USC as a graduate student, a young George Lucas directed a short documentary called The Emperor, which profiled a prominent California radio disc jockey named “Emperor” Bob Hudson. Knowing Lucas, he’s probably going to re-release a Special Edition of this and CGI Ian McDiarmid in Bob Hudson’s place.
