Celebrity Birthday of the Day – March 31

Tony Cox became an actor when he was inspired by the work of Billy Barty, whom you might know from his work in films like UHF and Willow. Cox in fact co-starred with Barty in Willow, and as a little person has done his fair share of acting in fantasy and sci-fi films such as Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, Captain EO, Beetlejuice, Spaceballs and Oz the Great and Powerful. I first took note of Cox’s work when he appeared in a memorable role as a foul-mouthed limo driver in Me, Myself & Irene – a role which helped Cox develop a similarly foul-mouthed persona for himself which he used to great effect in Bad Santa. Other notable credits on his resume include Friday, I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, and Faerie Tale Theater. Tony Cox turns 55 today.
