It’s the sequel that nobody is asking for but everybody would enjoy! As a sort of April Fool’s Day thing, the cast of This Is The End, the upcoming post-apocalyptic ensemble comedy featuring most of the Apatow gang that will inevitably be trumped by the post-apocalyptic comedy The World’s End from the Shaun of the Dead gang later this year, released a phony trailer for Pineapple Express 2. I wish I could say it was funnier, but honestly, it mostly makes me wish they’d actually do a Pineapple Express 2. I mean, that movie wasn’t great, but it was a lot of fun, and it would be cool to see James Franco return to the stoner role. I can’t wait to see that guy’s Lifetime Achievement Oscar reel. Anyway, there’s a legitimate trailer for This Is The End below, too, which makes it look like a pretty fun time.
