Prolific character actor Richard Jenkins starred in my #1 movie of 2012: The Cabin in the Woods! Jenkins has worked extensively in film, television and theatre, and has appeared in supporting roles in films and TV every year since 1985. Some of the more notable credits on his resume include Silverado, There’s Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene, Intolerable Cruelty, The Core, North Country, The Kingdom, Eat Pray Love, Let Me In, The Rum Diary, Jack Reacher, and The Visitor – a film which garnered him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. On television, Jenkins is best known for playing Nathaniel Fisher on the series Six Feet Under, and you can look forward to seeing him in the new Roland Emmerich film White House Down. He turns 66 today.
