A second trailer for White House Down has been released, and I’m afraid that this is going to be one of those movies where I keep posting the trailers because I want to see it, but my commentary on the movie doesn’t change from the start of its marketing campaign to the end of it. In the case of White House Down, my posts will probably go something like this: I know this movie looks stupid and we’ve already had one (lousy) White House invasion movie this year, and Roland Emmerich only seems capable of delivery schlock and cheese, but damnit, White House Down looks entertaining.
As an aside, is it just me, or do the CGI aircraft in this movie look pretty poorly rendered? Hopefully it’s just because the shots weren’t totally finished for the trailer.
