One more trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s robots-punching-monsters movie Pacific Rim has landed, and it’s usually around this point that I stop watching. Not because I’m sick of the movie or anything – far from it – but because this late into any film’s marketing campaign, I begin to worry that they’re giving everything away in the previews. Not so with Pacific Rim, though, as Del Toro has reassured fans that there’s still more awesomeness to be had in the movie with this quote:
If I showed you all the money shots [in Pacific Rim], you’d have a 70 minute orgasm.
Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you reassure your fanbase.
