Celebrity Birthday of the Day – May 26

One half of the collaborative team behind South Park, Matt Stone was born in Texas and grew up in Colorado where he met Trey Parker. Together they created two short films titled Jesus vs. Frosty and Jesus vs. Santa, and made the film Cannibal! The Musical in 1993. It was after the release of Cannibal! The Musical that Stone and Parker came up with the idea for South Park, a TV series that has run for 17 seasons and had a major motion picture. Outside of South Park, Stone has written, produced, and acted in such films as Orgazmo, Team America: World Police and BASEketball. He and Parker also wrote the hit Broadway musical The Book of Mormon, which is getting its own movie as well! Matt Stone turns 42 today.
