I think Carey Mulligan is just cute as a button, and being that she’s also a top notch actress, she, of course, is one of my celebrity crushes. Mulligan made her film debut only a year after beginning professional acting on the stage at the Royal Court Theatre, in the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. She then moved into television acting for a time, appearing on shows such as the mini-series Bleak House and the series The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard and Waking the Dead. In 2009, Mulligan gained much attention for her starring role in An Education, and since then she’s risen to stardom quickly, appearing in films such as Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Never Let Me Go, Drive, Shame, and The Great Gatsby. She turns 28 today.
