Karl Urban began acting out of university and started his career both on the stage and also on TV in commercials and shows. Some of Urban’s early work includes guest appearances on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. He made his Hollywood debut in the film Ghost Ship, and since then has appeared in more and more notable films, including The Chronicles of Riddick, Doom, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, RED, Dredd, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Return of the King. Clearly, Karl Urban is set to be a star forever now. He turns 41 today.
