Uproxx video created this funny little short in honour of The Purge, the new dark-sci-fi-satire-home-invasion movie that’s out in theatres today. I love the hook of The Purge, but I must admit, this video does bring up some questions about the film’s logistics. Like, if you start something illegal during the annual crime purge, but the effects of that thing last into the next day…is it still legal? Like, if I were to kidnap someone during the purge and keep them until the purge is over…am I breaking the law? I wonder if the film will address this kind of thing.
