There were a lot of Hobbit haters following the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, but guys, I really enjoyed that movie. It wasn’t perfect, but I had a hell of a good time. Maybe it’s because I didn’t see it at 48fps. Anyway, here’s the first trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and this thing gave me chills. I’m excited! It’s nice to be so excited for a movie that I know is going to deliver at least the same level of quality as its predecessor. Sadly, a number of the movies that I was looking forward to this year so far have been underwhelming – at least I can look forward to December.
