It’s pretty amazing to think that Mia Sara’s first two roles are not only still her most famous, but also iconic when it comes to the movies of the 1980s. Sara’s debut was as Lili, playing opposite Tom Cruise in Legend, and her follow-up came the next year as Sloan in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Since then, Sara has appeared in such films as A Stranger Among Us, Timecop, and Bullet to Beijing, as well as in TV series including Chicago Hope, CSI: NY, and as the voice of Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey. But she’ll always be Sloan to me. Mia Sara turns 46 today.
