Nick Offerman is the measuring stick for manliness. Just look at that moustache. Worship that moustache. Offerman got his start with improv and theatre groups, and has been acting in film and television since the late 1990s. Some of his earliest roles were on TV shows like ER and The West Wing, and he played small parts in films such as City of Angels, Stealing Harvard and Sin City. Other titles from early in Offerman’s career include Deadwood, Cursed, CSI: NY, and Wristcutters: A Love Story. Offerman’s career-making role came in 2009 when he began to play Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation, and since then he’s developed quite the cult following. Since Parks & Rec, Offerman has also appeared in The Men Who Stare at Goats, 21 Jump Street, Casa de mi Padre, Children’s Hospital, and The Kings of Summer.He turns 43 today.
