Billy Crudup’s passion for acting began when he was studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he continued his studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Following his graduation he moved into Broadway acting and made his film debut in 1996’s Sleepers. Since then he has appeared in numerous prominent roles in films such as Inventing the Abbotts, Jesus’ Son, Waking the Dead, Almost Famous, Big Fish, Stage Beauty, Mission: Impossible III, The Good Shepherd, Watchmen, Public Enemies, and Eat Pray Love. Billy Crudup turns 45 today.
