I was saddened to hear that legendary character actor Dennis Farina passed away yesterday at the age of 69. Before he broke into acting, Farina spent 18 years working for the Chicago Police Department, and one of his earliest major roles involved him playing a Chicago cop alongside Chuck Norris in the 1985 action film, Code of Silence. Farina is featured in this hilarious scene (supposedly based on a true incident) where a pair of dumbass criminals attempt to hold up a bar which happens to the be city’s most popular cop hangout.
