Before They Were Stars: Michael Bay Directs a “Got Milk?” Commercial

No one would ever accuse Michael Bay of directing the greatest films of all time, but believe it or not, he actually directed what is widely considered to be one of the greatest commercials of all time. In 1993, the famous “Got Milk?” advertising campaign was launched and kicked off with this Bay-directed commercial where some guy fails to win a radio contest because he didn’t have milk to wash down the sandwich he was eating. The ad garnered a ton of acclaim and Bay’s first feature film, Bad Boys, would be released just over a year later, so… yeah, if you hate the guy’s movies, you can probably blame the “Got Milk?” campaign.
