Before They Were Stars: 13-Year Old Julie Andrews Sings the National Anthem

Wow, this is quite the find from the archives. During her childhood, Julie Andrews had quite a successful career on stage as a singer. In 1948, when she was only 13 years old, she had the honour of being the youngest person to ever perform in front of the Royal Family at the annual Royal Variety Performance when she sang a rendition of “God Save the Queen” at the London Palladium.
